The Comfort-fit footbed offers more space around the ball of the foot and the toes, whilst keeping a strong grip at the heel. Made from cork with a fleece covering this footbed is contoured to the foot giving more support than a standard footbed and an extremely comfortable wear, perfect for all day use. The Meindl Comfort Hiker II sole has also been given the Comfort-Fit touch, designed to offer a smooth natural rolling movement whilst providing exceptional grip on a variety of terrain. Apply it with a sponge or cloth and don’t forget the tongues of the boots. Rub the wax in well. There’s no need to heat it, as this could reduce boot breathability. Waxing changes the appearance of the leather, making it smoother and darker. Applying a little to the hooks and eyelets also protects them against corrosion.
