Original vintage German drink advertising poster for Meinl Tee from Asia featuring a stylish image by Otto Exinger (1897-1957) of a Chinese man carrying two boxes of Meinl tea on h is back. Julius Meinl opened in 1862; by 1913 the company was the largest importer of tea and coffee in Central Europe; the company continues to sell tea, coffee and related products today. Otto Exinger was employed by Julius Meinl's advertising design studio in 1926, becoming the studio director in 1927 and working there until his death in 1957. Good condition, restored loss on left margin, minor restoration to folds, backed on linen. Show more
