Not sure why it took so long to create a ski graphic with Shane McFalls, but we finally did it! We’ve actually been working on random projects together for decades. He’s the dude who shot and edited all the legendary “Traveling Circus” episodes back in the day for me at Line. I always catch myself laughing out loud when I come across Shane’s drawing of animals acting like humans doing dumb stuff… but it also makes me think, hmmm maybe humans are actually the dumb ones on this planet. Ha! For this graphic we just let Shane run wild! He's got an iconic hand drawn style so he first drew all of the characters with pen, and then colored them in with crayon and watercolor to make them pop off the ski. The graphic is absolutely hilarious but also has a great underlying message that Shane was inspired by after realizing how much garbage he was seeing out in nature. Someday the animals may have the last laugh… I'm only building 350 pairs of these Limited edition skis and hand signing and numbering each. Don’t wait, or a giraffe may be the one riding them!
