Rising Stockholm, Sweden-based singer-songwriter waterbaby romanticizes everything. You can hear it in the rising star’s music, which is nostalgic, tender, and as fluid as her stag e name implies. waterbaby was surrounded by music as a child, from her great-grandad, a jazz pianist, to her uncle, who worked in clubs, to her own brother, who performs under the name tt. She eventually found her own way and sound, releasing her debut EP Foam with Sub Pop in 2023.
