SendYour Clothing Gently place the clothing you'd like included in your keepsake into a package and mail it to the address provided. Made With Love Once your clothing has been received, your keepsake will be carefully handcrafted. Processing time is typically 2–6 weeks, depending on the season. 🤍 Please note: We are not responsible for lost or delayed packages once shipped. 💛 Clothing Guide 💛 For a Memory Bear, we recommend sending 11–14 pieces of baby clothing to ensure we have enough fabric to work with. Please note that materials which cannot be cut with fabric scissors—such as leather, thick vinyl, raincoat material, or very thick fabrics—are not suitable for Memory Bears. Extremely stretchy fabrics, such as swimsuits, are also not recommended. Very thin or see-through fabrics may be too delicate to use on their own, but may still be able to use them as accent or layered details depending on the material. Pants do not count as one full clothing piece due to their narrow shape, but you are still very welcome to include them, as small sections can sometimes be used for certain parts of the bear. Ruffles can absolutely be incorporated if enough suitable material is available. Lightweight woven fabrics (non-stretch) typically work best for ruffle details. Ruffles also require a larger amount of fabric than they may appear to, as the gathered folds overlap to create their signature fullness and texture. With enough suitable material, those special details can often be preserved beautifully. 🤍 If the clothing consists of preemie or newborn sizes only, please include 2–3 additional pieces, as these garments are smaller and provide less usable fabric. For adult clothing, the following is generally recommended: 2–3 pieces for standard adult-sized garments 3–5 pieces if the clothing runs very small If the clothing provided is not sufficient, we may use a plain white fabric to complete your Memory Bear. Any clothing not used in the creation of your Memory Bear, along with larger leftover fabric pieces and meaningful scraps, will be carefully returned to you with your finished keepsake bear. 🤍 💛 Design Details & Clothing Selection 💛 All decorative details on your Memory Bear—such as hoodie collars, overalls, tutus, skirts, ruffles, and other special design elements—are created from the clothing you send. These details are carefully adapted to fit the bear's shape and size while preserving their unique character whenever possible. In some cases, features like a hoodie collar, overalls, tutu, skirt, or other special details can be beautifully incorporated into the bear’s design. In other cases, this may not be possible due to sizing, fabric, or construction limitations. Every Memory Bear is thoughtfully designed to create the most beautiful and balanced keepsake possible using the materials provided. Sending multiple clothing pieces provides more opportunities to incorporate meaningful details and thoughtful design elements. That said, every garment holds a special memory, and the clothing selected plays an important role in shaping the final look and character of the bear.
