I’m Shereena Noelle, the face behind Shereena Noelle Activewear & Wellbeing. Sport, wellbeing, design, and fashion have always been a part of my life. As kid you would always find me engaging with fitness activities such as running, hockey and dance. I’ve walked the catwalk, modeling for many well-known designers, including at New Zealand Fashion Week (NZFW). As a self-taught fashion designer, I founded my activewear and wellbeing brand in 2017 after overcoming depression due to being in an abusive relationship. With the help of my amazing SN team, including expert pattern makers and a sewing guru, we bring our garments to life. Every piece is made in New Zealand using sustainable fabrics—a process I began planning as early as 2014/2015. Beyond fashion, I’ve spoken at numerous events and mentored many individuals, helping them unlock their full potential. Advocacy for Health & Wellbeing I’m dedicated to raising awareness about mental health, endometriosis, and fertility. Having personally undergone surgery for endometriosis, battled depression, and navigated the complexities of fertility treatments (including IVF and egg freezing), I know firsthand the emotional and physical toll these experiences bring. I’ve also learnt how to rebuild and reinvent myself after unhealthy relationships, using strategies to reprogram my mindset and focus on becoming the best version of myself. As an advocate, I actively support community groups and organizations, particularly the Mental Health Foundation and Endometriosis Foundation NZ, causes that are incredibly close to my heart. A Passion for Architecture I’m also deeply passionate about the built environment. I hold a BAS and a Master of Architecture (Prof) from the University of Auckland (2010). My architectural practice focuses on community, ecological, and cultural design integration, and I’ve had the privilege of tutoring at various universities in architectural design and sustainability—a role I continue to this day.
