A pair of spice grinders shaped like bottles, with the ceramic mechanism at the top rather than the base. You turn the Audo Copenhagen Bottle Grinder over to grind, and because the mill sits under the cap, nothing sprinkles out except when you are grinding, so the table stays clean between uses. A twist of the knob on top moves the grind from coarse to fine. The ceramic mechanism is built for more than salt and pepper: dried spices, grains, seeds, nuts, and dried fruit all go through it, and the bottle opens in the middle to refill or switch what's inside. Norm Architects gave it the bottle shape on purpose. Kasper Rønn has said that from a form like this you expect something liquid, oil or a dressing, and the surprise of finding dried spices inside is meant to nudge people toward a more playful, experimental way of seasoning. They come as a set of two.
