A rare grouping of four colour lithographs by French artist Georges Plaze, commissioned by the Compagnie Générale Transatlantique — the French Line — depicting Loire Valley château x including Sully, Vitré, and Chenonceau, sold together with an original luncheon menu from the CGT paquebot Flandre, dated April 10, 1934. The menu lists a full déjeuner service including Gruyère, Camembert, and Roquefort — an ordinary Tuesday lunch on a transatlantic crossing. The french line emblem is printed on the menu's reverse.
