La Belle Farm, in Ferndale, NY, has a cult following in the foodservice industry because their chicken is incredibly high quality and is the preferred farm bird for discerning chef s. All La Belles chicken is ABF, with no growth hormones or GMOs. Their birds are fed a local diet of corn and soy and given plenty of space to roam. They are also slow-growing birds-the longer the grow-out period, the more delicious the flavor. And last but not least, their chicken is air-chilled instead of being cooled in a water bath, so the skin gets super crispy. A whole chicken without giblets, ready for any preparation. Utilizing the whole animal is always the most cost-effective option in the kitchen. Show more
