Handmade in our atelier near Berlin by artist Jakub Kubica. Each table is a meditation on harmony between traditionalism and modernism: a 4mm aluminum plate hand-sanded and polished with beeswax, meticulously cut to follow the contours of three natural beige sandstone formations. The process is an act of reverence—the metal adapts to the stone’s innate shape, never the reverse. Finished with a hand-applied beeswax coating, the aluminum develops a soft patina over time, while the sandstone retains its raw, geological character. Like all pieces in the Merge series, this is a singular work. No two stone arrangements are identical; each table is numbered and signed by the artist.
