Half-circle earrings crafted with a vibrant mix of colors. Made from surfboard resin, these earrings reflect the beauty of sea glass, often called 'mermaid tears,' capturing the es sence of the sea's magic. This piece, along with each one in the collection, is one of a kind, made between 1979 and 1989. Over 30 years old, these pieces are durable and true vintage. In his early teens, Leighton began making surfboards. This evolved into resin-based art and jewelry. 'Ear Art,' his first jewelry collection, was made from surfboard resin. That collection includes this piece. Leighton stopped making surfboard resin jewelry in the early 1990s and will not be making pieces like this again.
