The Més Stud Hoops are dimensional sculptural hoop earrings from our Eras Collection, mounted on sterling silver posts and handcrafted in our Central Texas studio in copper with sterling silver posts. I grew up watching my mom wear a cuff and necklace she'd brought home from a trip to Mexico in the 80s: big, sculptural pieces that moved when she did. The Eras Collection is my own take on that memory, filtered through years of training as a metalsmith and more than a little inspiration from Matisse's cut-out work. The Més Stud Hoops are the boldest expression of it: dimensional shapes that hang and sway with you rather than sitting still. These are the largest hoops in the Eras line, so they read a little louder than our Día Earrings if you're deciding between the two. The sculptural shapes mount onto sterling silver posts with sterling silver backs, so the hardware disappears and the shape does all the talking. Wear them to the office or wear them out, they hold their own either way without needing anything else to back them up. They're built to be the earrings you put on and then forget you're wearing, until you catch them moving in a mirror and remember why you bought them.
