Pirates Press Records is proud to present SOMOS MESS (WE ARE MESS), a collection of the band’s much sought-after early work!Between 2020 and 2022, MESS released two EPs, two 7”’s (including the long sold out split with The Chisel), and appeared on the compilation Stronger Than Before Vol 1 (Longshot / Battle Scarred Records). This flurry of activity quickly captured the attention of the international punk scene, rapidly making MESS a global favorite, with fans eagerly awaiting each release.Influenced by the classic sounds of Oi! and UK82, the band brings a raw but catchy sensibility to their street level rock ’n roll anthems, singing primarily in English and occasionally in Spanish. As their sound & attitude spread like wildfire with each release, an ever-growing fan base were left scrambling to find copies of their back catalog.Although Intercity and the follow up EP Fuego Fuego Fuego have received multiple represses in Europe, and Intercity was pressed as a picture disc in the USA via Pirates, Fuego Fuego Fuego has never had a US pressing. Likewise, both 7”s are long out-of-print, and never to be repressed.
