The Mark IIC+ was also the final model of its family, as the next iteration, the MARK III, would feature three performance modes. The Mesa Boogie Mark IIC+ Head features two modes (preamps) for clean and overdrive tones, each with independent gain and volume controls. The PULL SHIFT voicing features and 5-Band Graphic EQ allow for precise sound adjustments. This amp provides surgical-level sculpting for optimal voicing and tonal control. The Mesa Boogie Mark IIC+ Head's rear panel features essential controls that have kept this amp relevant for over 40 years. With centered global PRESENCE and REVERB controls, navigating on stage is simple. The series, buffered Effects Loop smoothly integrates time-based processing. The Power Select switch on the far right offers a choice between "SIMUL-CLASS" for 75 watts of power, "CLASS A" for 25 watts of reduced power and smoother clipping at lower volumes, and one 8 Ohm and two 4 Ohm speaker outputs for versatile cabinet impedance matching. Additionally, the SLAVE tap off the speaker outputs captures the entire amp sound for non-compensated feeds to external processors or "dry/wet/wet" setups. Having been out of production for forty years, this legendary icon is making a comeback, paying tribute to its influence on renowned guitarists and timeless records during one of the most significant eras in rock guitar history.
