A new children’s picture book by Tina Wilson featuring an assortment of hand-knitted characters. It is the second book in the Monkey’s Great Adventures series, The Messy Bath Monster, and is a wild and wobbly underwater adventure set in the bathtub! This new book features a huge array of hand-knitted sea creatures (including a giant blue octopus, angler fish, and whale) by Tina's mother, Joan Wilson – with accompanying music by award-winning artist/composer Matt Ottley. The book also includes knitting patterns at the back so that people can make some of the characters in the story. There is some extra info about the book in the attached PDF, including dates for live performances in 2026. Given this book has an accompanying free soundtrack (with narration), it is ideally suited for next year’s Children’s Book Council of Australia’s (CBCA) theme, Symphony of Stories.
