Painting Backstory: I originally painted this abstract elephant as a way to teach for one of my online paint classes. I wanted to push myself out of that perfectionist mindset and try something looser and more playful. This painting came out of me really freely, which honestly made me a little nervous when it came time to teach it. Surprisingly, everyone in the class did amazing. They really tapped into their own creativity and kept telling me how shocked they were by what they were able to create. It turned into one of those moments that reminded me how fun it can be to let go and just trust the process. This is an original painting and it comes with an 8x10 mat border.
