Loose leaf is more affordable than transfer and is perfect for most gilding purposes. It's particularly good for carved surfaces. We offer leaf metal in Brass, Aluminium and Copper . Use the leaf with hands lightly dusted with talcum powder and stick the leaf on to a surface coated with Annie Sloan Gold Size.Brass leaf is also known as 'Imitation Gold' or sometimes referred to as 'Dutch Gold'. Brass tarnishes so apply a layer of Clear Chalk Paint® Wax over your gilded surface when done.Aluminium leaf is also known as 'Imitation Silver'. To make it look like vintage silver, apply a light coat of Dark Chalk Paint® Wax when done.Our loose leaf metal is available in books of 25 sheets. Each sheet is 5 inches x 5 inches. Show more
