Wick your molds faster and easier with the Metal Mold Wick Kit! This system uses reusable metal washers and foam gaskets, which eliminate the need for messy mold sealer. The specia lly designed wick holder keeps the wick straight, centered, and taut. The set includes 2 wick bars, 2 foam rubber gaskets, 2 metal washers, and instructions. Replace gaskets and washers with our Metal Mold Wick Kit Refill. The bar has a "v"-shaped slot at one end in order to hold your wick tight. After threading your wick through all holes and placing the mold bar flush against the mold, pull the wick towards the “v” slot, then down into the slot to hold and secure the wick. You may want to wrap it around the mold once or twice to hold the wick securely. Just tie a slip knot at the lower end of the wick, thread the other end through a metal washer, and then push through a rubber washer. Pull the wick through the mold, continue to the mold bar, and then towards the “v” shape slot. Move the mold bar flush against the mold and lock the wick tight into the “v” shape slot on the wick bar. You are now ready to pour your candle. Use a sewing needle to make a tiny hole in the rubber washer in order to feed the wick through. Be careful not to make a large hole; otherwise, the wax could leak through the rubber washer.
