Coverage Each 75g pot will provide coverage for approximately 5m², depending on the amount mixed and the depth of metallic colour desired. Preparation Ensure the surface to be painted is suitably prepared. Clean, dry, and in good condition. Lightly sand the surface to give the metallic paint something to grab onto. You can watch our video on how to prepare surfaces for painting here. Transfer the required amount of your Finishing Coat and Frensheen to a suitable airtight container for mixing and storage. The mixture will last for months. The more powder you add, the stronger the metallic effect. However, avoid adding so much that the texture becomes gritty. Add more Finishing Coat if necessary, aiming for a smooth, single-cream-like consistency. Stir thoroughly and repeatedly during the application phase. Application and drying Our Detailing Brush Set is recommended for applying finer touches. Drying time will depend on the application; however, 30 minutes is a rough estimate for the initial drying time before applying a second coat, if required.
