Meteor is a beautiful variety of zinnia that produces elegant, burgundy flowers reaching up to 5 inches across. The blooms are predominantly semi-double, leaving the beautiful centers exposed and making the nectar more accessible to butterflies. In fact, we've noticed a wide range of butterflies visiting the flowers including monarchs, swallowtails, painted lady, and hawk moths. Meteor's large, vividly colored flowers and dense bloom pattern make a dramatic statement when used as a bedding plant and they're so beautiful, you'll be tempted to cut a few and bring them in.
