These earrings were created through a process called electroforming, where tiny particles of copper are deposited onto a conductive surface via electricity in a copper solution, over the period of several hours. Once formed in copper, the piece is then plated in the thickest layer of 14 karat Gold and sealed to preserve the plating for as long as possible.
