The Prunus Salicina - Methley plum is a cultivar of Japanese plum, Methley is a small, upright, spreading tree. ‘Methley’ produces mid-size reddish purple fruit, dark red flesh wit h a good mild flavor. The Methley plum is self-fertile but should be planted in multiples to ensure a better crop. Has a chill hours (CU) requirement of 150–250.
