Methyl pamplemousse is a classic synthetic note in perfumery used to great a grapefruit note. Unlike real Grapefruit oil (which gives the truest grapefruit smell), Methyl pamplemou sse is cheaper, more consistent between batches, less restricted and has a longer shelf life.
