Montana Fly Company Galloup’s Fish Feathers & Fin Tips are a premium synthetic material designed to perfectly imitate the fins, tails, and subtle movement of baitfish and sculpins. Developed with streamer legend Kelly Galloup, this material features ultra-thin, tapered fibers that create a natural silhouette and fluid motion in the water, even at slow retrieve speeds. Ideal for tails, fins, throats, and accent points on modern streamers, Fish Feathers & Fin Tips add realism without excess bulk. The fibers are durable, easy to trim, and hold their shape, making them a go-to material for articulated streamers, sculpin patterns, and baitfish imitations targeting trout, bass, and other predatory species. Why we love it: It delivers clean, lifelike movement and structure, giving streamers that subtle “fin flick” predators key in on.
