It's just like regular fly-fishing Flashabou, except the Montana Fly Company® Holosheen features a smooth, metallic finish that reflects, sparkles, and dazzles in the light of the sun. This excites fish and provokes more strikes. This fly-tying material from Montana Fly Company lays flat and has a holographic, multicolored look. Ideal for streamer patterns. Thin enough for bodies, wing cases, and ribs on nymphs and dry flies. The 1/32" size makes excellent chrinomid bodies size 16 and up. It is also a great flash accent for larger salmon, steelhead, or saltwater patterns. the 1/69" size makes excellent chironomid bodies in size 18 and is also a great choice as rib on thread patterns, in place or wire or as an accent.
