Early engineering learning”in a snap! The Blueprint Snap Kit makes construction time feel like play time, with bright pieces that click together satisfyingly and endless ways to create moving, working models. The Blueprint Snap Kit introduces students to structure, motion, and simple machines. With 280+ colourful, easy-to-connect parts, up to two students can build from instructions, apply design thinking, and complete working models in under an hour. Its a simple, fun way to teach engineering fundamentals through exploration and iteration. Why Educators Love the Blueprint Snap Kit: Standards-Aligned Learning: Includes free cross-curricular lessons, self-guided challenge cards, and resources designed to align with STEL and NGSS outcomes while laying the foundation for more advanced engineering learning. Problem Solving & Critical Thinking Through Building: Students use critical thinking and collaboration to connect trusses, gears, pulleys, and other mechanical components as they test ideas, identify problems, and improve their designs just like real engineers. Fast, Frustration-Free Prototyping: Colourful parts and simple assembly/disassembly let students go from idea to working prototype in under an hour”no glue, screens, or batteries required. Build a World & Bring It to Life: Students can design everything from bridges to obstacle courses, then use Sphero robots like BOLT+ to explore, race through, or interact with the worlds theyve built. Made for the Classroom: Durable parts, organised storage, and a no-tech setup make it easy to implement in any general ed, makerspace, or after school environment. Educational benefits Builds early engineering thinking through hands-on exploration of structure, motion, and simple machines Strengthens problem solving and reasoning by testing ideas, spotting issues, and improving designs Encourages teamwork and communication when building and troubleshooting together Develops spatial awareness and fine motor control through connecting and arranging parts precisely Key considerations when buying a snap engineering kit Look for durable parts that withstand frequent use in childcare and early learning settings Choose a set with guided challenge cards plus open-ended building for different ability levels Prioritise easy storage and sorting to support quick pack-up and independent use Check that pieces connect easily without requiring high hand strength Product Details Recommended ages: 4+ Whats Included: 1 Blueprint Snap Kit (288 mechanical parts)1 Storage Bin for easy organisation1 set of 15 Challenge Cards1 Quick Start GuideUnits & Lessons (digital) Product Dimensions Storage Bin: 45.2(L) x 20.3(H) x 32.8(W) cm
