The shoulder-mounted GN Drives feature MGSD original gimmicks, including rotational movement and the ability to expose clear parts. The O-Raiser also features a reflection-cut exposure gimmick. MGSD's unique frame structure allows for the reproduction of the internal frame in SD size. While recreating the combination with the O-Raiser, it also achieves a wide range of motion in each part. The lens parts, such as GN capacitors, reproduce precise details such as engraved lettering. GN Sword II and GN Sword III come with dedicated effect parts and also feature a recreated connection gimmick.
