These lovely cushion covers are hand stitched using vintage fabric from the traditional costumes of the Miao people - a Chinese ethnic minority that live primarily in the south of China. They are well known for their richly patterned fabrics as well as the ornate silver jewellery that they wear. The cushion covers are made from cotton and hemp, with the fabric dating from the mid 20th century. Each one is made by carefully cutting the fabric and stitching together to create a design that is unique to every cushion. Cushion filler sold separately. Show more
