DANJA KULTERER . 2009 Black or White Shocked by his death and deeply moved by the TV pictures of the funeral service, the night after I painted my personal version and vision of Michael to convey how I perceive him. “Black or White” is the name of my artwork because it expresses both sides of Michael Jackson: the side of a young musician and entertainment talent as well as the side of a pale Peter Pan pop icon. Through “Black or White” I have tried to combine all aspects of Michael Jackson within a single artwork. The picture is painted in acrylic on high quality linen cloth (40x80).
