1971's self-titled psychedelic pop masterpiece "Michel Polnareff 2" by the esteemed French popstar. Each track, such as "Petite, Petite," "Nos Mots D'Amour," and "Monsieur L'Abbe," is composed and recorded with meticulous care and attention to detail, incorporating influences from Serge Gainsbourg and Burt Bacharach to funky discotheque and pop icons like Sandie Shaw and Françoise Hardy. Polnareff's use of lush textures and grandiose, baroque elements adds to the album's excess and opulence, making it a standout in its genre. This expertly produced and executed work is a testament to the undeniable talent and grandiose French psychedelic vision of Polnareff. Show more
