The Pocket 3 with the tripod base or battery base attached is much heavier than the Pocket 2, so it is possible to use the Pocket 3 with the Micro Pro 4 without counterweights, but the smoothing may not be so effective. We have found that using one or both of the included 100g counterweights and/or using one of our hard cases will do a significantly better job of stabilizing the footage.
