Made with live, unlacquered brass that is waxed for an even finish that will patina with time. BACKPLATE SIZING Option one (2nd photo): Easy installation - Includes 4 5/8" diameter backplate and hardware for mounting over 3-4 inch standard junction boxes. For a tight fit, inset your junction box at least 1/8". Option two (primary image): Pre-planning recommended - Includes a 3 5/8" backplate to be used with 3" round jbox (inset at least 1/8 inch). For projects utilizing multiple fixtures on a common wall switch, we recommend a centralized wiring hub (accessible junction box) from which individual cable runs are routed to each fixture. This method simplifies installation and reduces wiring at the fixture location which is often needed when working with a smaller 3" jbox, per code jbox volume requirements. Please pre-plan with your electrician if utilizing the 3 5/8" backplate style as additional options may be available for use with 3-4" jboxes. Depending on your local code you may also be able to use a "mud-in" sheet rock plate for 4" jbox (inquire for suggested product recommendations) or millwork covers for wood ceilings. Option 3 (3rd photo): Rectangular Slab - 2.5" x 4.5". Covers single-gang rectangular junction box. Includes two low profile mounting thumb screws with 2-3/4 vertical spacing. DIMMING All of our fixtures are fully dimmable. We recommend a quality dimmable LED bulb (Soraa, Emery Allen) and wall dimmer.
