Covering 28,000+ microbial species, this comprehensive analysis provides a more detailed picture compared to targeted approaches that focus on specific genes or organisms. Since the sequencing is unbiased, it can reveal the presence of previously unknown or unculturable microorganisms to uncover the full diversity of the microbiome.
