Microcare PEHG is a ready-to-use liquid preservative blend of phenoxyethanol and ethylhexylglycerin in a 90:10 ratio. It barely smells of anything — just the faintest rose-like hint from the phenoxyethanol, which vanishes entirely at working concentrations. Add it to any formula that contains water. If your product contains water — body sprays, room mists, toners, anything with an aqueous phase — it needs a preservative. Microcare PEHG gives you broad-spectrum protection against bacteria, yeasts, and moulds in a single, easy-to-use liquid. It is paraben-free, formaldehyde-free, and approved for use globally. Add it during the cool-down phase at half to one percent of your finished product. Phenoxyethanol also acts as a mild fragrance fixative, so it does double duty.
