Microclover Seeds (Trifolium repens var. pipolina) - This is our shortest clover crop. This variety is an outstanding and a durable alternative to traditional lawns. It has naturally dense growth and not only fixes nitrogen but is a great weed suppressor. Deep green and uniform foliage. It is cold hardy and tolerates both full sun and shade. It also tolerates wet and dry soil, foot traffic and requires little mowing or no mowing if you wish a more natural look. If you don’t mow, it only reaches about 3-6 inches. A mowing or two seasonally will keep it shorter and lush. It is also a great clay busting plant. Pre-inoculated. Early Spring and early Fall are great times to plant. Keep it moist while it establishes. Light Requirement: Sun to Shade Life Cycle: Perennial Up to 3-6 inches Seeding Rate: 1 lb. per 1000 sq. ft.
