Developed in collaboration with a design studio, the Microgreens Sprouting Tray is an elegant, functional tray for growing microgreens. Microgreens are small plants that contain a large quantity of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants, especially vitamins C, D, E. You can grow them all year long in home conditions. This tray is ideal for growing watercress, rocket, radish, cabbage, broccoli, kohl rabi, mustard and more. The package contains the cap, shallow strainer, deep strainer and the plant saucer. The saucer's finish mixes virgin material with 10% granulated coffee grounds, resulting in an ivory colour with a grainy appearance. 100% BPA-free as well as dishwasher safe. Made in the Czech Republic. Depth: 16cm / Height: 7.7cm / Width: 16cm / Weight: 223g Growing microgreens with water: Insert the deep strainer (C) into the plant saucer (D) and pour in water up to the mark Insert the shallow strainer (B) into the deep strainer filled with water (C). The water level should touch the bottom of the shallow strainer (B). Moisten the shallow strainer (B) with a mister or spray bottle and evenly sprinkle seeds over it. Moisten the seeds once again with the mister. We recommend you to use about 5g of seeds for the surface of the shallow strainer (B) (approximately a full teaspoon) and cover them with the cap (A) Change the water regularly once a day (to prevent mould) After 48 hours, or depending on the size of the sprouts, remove the cap and expose the kit to natural light The optimum temperature for germination and growth is +18 - 24°C The plants will be ready for consumption on the 7th to 10th day. We recommend you trim them about 1 cm above the seeds
