Slice Safely; The blade edge is sharp enough to pierce the avocado skin, but not your hand. Place the tip of the blade into the skin, and rotate around the outside of the avocado to cut in half. Avoid Avocado Hand; the concave 3 prong pitter sits at the bottom of the handle, simply press the prongs into the pit and then twist. The pit will loosen and pull out. Slice and Serve; once the avocado is cut in half and pitted, use the spoon shaped edge to scoop our, or slice the avocado for serving. Soft Grip Handle: The handle is easy to hold and grip, with the soft touch and rounded shape, it doesn't slip when hands are wet or messy from working with avocados. The material is BPA free. Dishwasher Safe: The tool is easy to clean, simple rinse in warm soapy water, and air dry, or put on the top shelf of the dishwasher. If needed use a kitchen brush on the 3 prong pitter to remove any leftover debris.
