This is the 'midlength' version of the Feral fish. I sized this board up in exploration of wanting a larger board that would have that paddle and glide you expect from boards of th is length but with much more manoeuvrability and freedom to explore the wave than conventionally expected. It still has all the same attributes from it's shorter version but in a bigger stretched out package. I have converted and dialled all the appropriate alterations to keep this the fluid and dynamic board it is. One key element was bringing the fin positioning forward to loosen it from the extra length and have now developed it with the option of mini trailing canards behind the main fins, like a quad but more like a twinzer in reverse. This combination enables the board to have this really free feeling to it but with no lack of drive or hold, it's pretty special. So if you're looking for a board that you will catch every wave you look at with, but feel like you are surfing something sub 6ft, this is the one for you!
