The MidOpt LP715-25.4 is used with a monochrome camera to improve infrared contrast and resolution. LP715 filters block all visible light while passing Near-IR wavelengths. To block deeper infrared light, we recommend our BP800 Bandpass filter as an effective choice when the filter material is 1mm thick or less. All MidOpt filters can also be purchased unmounted and in custom dimensions upon request from Machine Vision Direct.
