In smaller tanks, the Midas Blenny may become aggressive towards small planktivores and may nip at firefish and gobies. Providing a larger tank can help alleviate this behavior. Unlike other blennies, the Midas Blenny needs a protein-rich diet that includes finely chopped crustacean flesh, vitamin-enriched brine shrimp, mysis, frozen herbivore preparations, and micro and blue-green algae.
