Product Description Connector panels, patch panels, and AV interface panels installed in racks frequently require rear access for termination work, cable changes, and troubleshooting. In enclosed rack installations, reaching the rear of front-mounted connector panels typically requires full access to the rear of the rack or removal of the panel from the rack. The AP-2 hinged access panel eliminates this problem by providing a 2-space rack-mounted panel that opens forward on a hinge, allowing direct access to the space and components behind it. The captive 10-32 threaded thumbscrews can be loosened and tightened by hand without tools, and because they are captive they cannot be dropped or lost during servicing.
