Georgian copper-plate engraving published in the third edition of William Camden’s “Britannia: or a chorographical description of Great Brit ain and Ireland.” Revised by Edmund Gibson, D.D., Late Lord Bishop of London. Published 1753. Map includes London within the county (it did not become a county in its own right until the LCC in 1889. Paper size 15.25 x 17.5 inches. Usual atlas fold.
