If you press the EMG button to transmit an emergency call, you can talk to all G8 radios in range. The default emergency channel is P8 + DCS50 but the user can define their own. The emergency channel is always ''dual-watched'' together with the channel in use. If the EMG button is pressed twice this confims all radios within range/if you are out of range.
