Kai Neukermans, son of Rival Sons drummer Michael Neukermans, brings a pedigree that runs deep in rock's current moment, and alongside Gus Mehrkam and Manoa Neukermans, the trio have turned a shared upbringing into something that's connecting with millions. One of the most exciting, and youngest, voices in alternative rock and shoegaze, Midrift returns with their latest single "over anything," alongside the announcement of their debut album Silhouette, set for release on June 5th.Over the past few years, Gus Mehrkam (vocals, guitar), Manoa Neukermans (bass) and Kai Neukermans (drums), have built undeniable momentum as Midrift.
