This heavy-duty metal soil probe is used to easily locate underground pipes. The addition of a current isolator increases operator protection against electrical shock from incident al contact with energised lines. The Mighty Probe features: A fully insulated handle for up to 50,000V. A hexagon shaped metal rod for added strength and rigidity. A metal pointed tip. Optional add-ons include: Ball nose tip. Probe Slide Adapter with stop and locking pin. The Probe Slide Adapter threads between the shaft and handle to convert the Mighty Probe into a slide hammer probe. The stop and locking pin allow you to lock the shaft in place. The extra weight from the adapter can also assist in penetrating tougher terrains.
