Artwork by Noel Doyle, Indigenous artist of the Raminginging people who now resides in Cape York. It is the traditional Raminginging dreamtime tale of the Barramundi. The name barr amundi is Aboriginal for “large-scaled silver fish. It is considered a wise and strong fish, truly capable of outsmarting people. As a result the “barra” plays a large part in the region’s dreamtime mythology. A good natured story that is great for kids and informative for adults. Includes a full background to the artist, the work, and the culture that underpins it. This large wooden tray puzzle measures 42cm x 30cm.
