He has been told countless times he is not the center of the universe but he has a sneaky suspicion he actually might be. Miles is all energy — it's as if he has petrol in his vein s and death keeps glancing at him from the rear-view mirror while he's speeding through life.He never means to hurt anybody but he's an untamed force who simply doesn’t know how to slow down. He tries, sometimes, for his dear mother’s sake, but trouble semm to gravitate towards him as if he were a magnet. He’s urgently aware he won’t be here forever, so he acts accordingly: he lives and loves loud, fast, and fiercely.
