So you’re thinking about booking a Session Sitter Session? Baby Milestone Sessions are a short 30-45min photo shoot at my studio for babies aged between 3 and 13 months. These sessions focus on capturing natural, timeless photographs of your baby to document their gorgeous unique and amazing new skills – whether that’s rolling, sitting, crawling or even walking. All the photographs will be in my classic, natural style, focusing on your baby and family rather than props or complicated setups. What’s Included In A Baby Milestone Session? Booking a session is about more than just turning up on the day. It’s important to me that you have a relaxed, enjoyable experience. So much of what makes a good photograph is in the preparation – from choosing the happiest time for your baby, to what they’re wearing. So you can expect a lot of communication and support from me beforehand. When you book a Baby Milestone Session or sitter session and pay your session fee, you will receive: a telephone consultation with me so that we can plan your session, organise the best time to photograph your baby. the option to borrow clothes for your baby from my ‘studio wardrobe.’ an option to include family and sibling portraits. professional editing and retouching of the photographs from your session. A PDF of proofs emailed to you that day to make your selections from 10 fully edited digital images How Long Does The Baby Milestone Session Last? Milestone sessions and sitter sessions are pretty quick. We will usually be wrapped up within an hour. Most babies between 3 and 13 months have short windows between feeds, meals and naps when they’re calm, relaxed and happy. They also usually have limited tolerance for having their photograph taken. To make the most of this we’ll schedule your session for right after a nap and feed and I will work quickly to make the most of the happy, relaxed window. That All Sounds Great. How Do I Book? My booking process is simple, please fill in my contact form, call or email, and let me know how old your baby is and which month you’d like to have your session. I’ll get back to you within 24 hours to let you know my availability. Once we’ve settled on a date, I’ll send you a booking agreement and invoice for your session fee, and when these are returned, your session will be confirmed. Then we can get started with planning your session!
