Held together by mandarin-like acidity and a smooth and chocolatey sweetness, Milky Joe is our everyday blend. A combination of two coffees; a Natural Brazilian and a Washed Colombian (oooft), the farmers behind these beans are nothing short of wilderness warriors. Pedro, from Brazil, has projects in land conservation that have won him some pretty serious awards. On the other hand, Wilton from Colombia processes his specialised coffees using zero water waste facilities. Despite close proximity, getting between Brazil and Colombia is difficult. Having established a working friendship, Pedro and Wilton share their coffee knowledge and technique, and even different exotic varietals with one another. Interestingly, sourcing good coffee seeds for farming from different countries is fairly difficult, but these two make it work. Show more
