Mills Basis A Basis A is one half of Mills' two-part base nutrient system, used throughout your plant's entire life cycle from early growth through to late flowering. Like all two-part base nutrients, Basis A and Basis B carry mineral compounds that can't be combined at full concentrated strength in a single bottle — mixed together undiluted, they bind and drop out of solution, so they're kept apart until diluted into your reservoir. Always dose Basis A and Basis B in equal amounts, added separately to your tank and stirred in one at a time — never mix the two concentrates directly together. Suitable for hydroponic growing systems, run-to-waste hydroponics, and organic soil. Pair with Mills Cal Mag if your water is very soft, or your plants show calcium/magnesium deficiency symptoms.
